The Meireer Education Foundation (MEF) was founded in 2022 out of a passion for education, to change the lives of indigent citizens in Nigeria, through education sponsorships and to enable them to realize their full potential and dreams. Despite the Nigerian Government's programme of free and subsidized basic education, these children still find it difficult to access public education, due to the ineffectiveness of the programme; many of them are still out of school, despite the government's subsidized tuition and many families still cannot afford to send their kids to school. The MEF, as a child of necessity, helps to fill this gap.

We sponsor, assist, train, and finance indigent citizens' education, through schools; we also advocate, sensitize, enlighten and educate the public on their rights to education. MEF achieves this through partnerships with schools, building sustainability programs for the realisation of their key objectives of changing the world, one child at a time; giving the leaders of tomorrow quality education, despite their parents’ financial status.
