Eunice, who dreams of becoming a lawyer, is the eldest of three children. Her mother, a widow, goes to people’s houses to braid hair, but she struggles to provide for her children, who often face hunger and have to beg for food. She believes that educating her children will prevent them from ending up in her situation. Despite her efforts, she often falls short of meeting their basic needs. When she learned about the scholarship, she couldn’t stop crying tears of joy, feeling that God had sent a helper. Eunice expressed her gratitude to MEF with utmost excitement, thanking them profusely.
