Emmanuel’s father is blind, so his mother became the family’s breadwinner. She struggles to feed their family of six and send their four children to school. As a result, only Emmanuel and one of his siblings are currently attending school, while the others remain at home. Emmanuel shared with MEF that he dreams of becoming a pilot and promised to work very hard to make the foundation proud. His mother expressed that she had lost hope of continuing Emmanuel’s education due to financial difficulties, but this scholarship has brought her great joy and alleviated her fears.
