Fauziya’s story is one of resilience and hope. As the fifth of seven children with both parents currently unemployed, she has learned early the importance of determination and contentment. She dreams of becoming a nurse, driven by her desire to care for others. In her free time, she reads and practices tailoring so that she can contribute financially to her family and grow herself. Fauzyat envisions a future where she can lift herself and her family out of hardship through education, hard work, perseverance and compassion.
