To 16-year-old Emmanuella, getting sponsored wasn’t just a lifeline but a step closer to her goal of becoming a dentist. She has always been attentive to her studies, but all these meant nothing if she couldn’t go to school due to financial hardship. Now all she wants to do is focus on her studies and be a good ambassador of the foundation that gave her a second chance at achieving her goal. She also shared her avid interest in geography. In her words, “geography is my way of seeing the world without leaving my room.”
